I am a domestic violence survivor.  I was married to my ex husband for 8 years and have 3 children from that marriage.  My youngest is 7 years old and she is autistic.  My ex husband is currently incarcerated until 2018.  When he was not in jail I had garnished his Social Security Disability wages to get only 250.00 per month child support for 3 children.  He refused to get a real job eventhough he is capable and stays on Social security as he thought he would not have to pay any support at all if he was considered indigent.  Now that he is in prison his social security has stopped and so has my child support payment that I was getting.  I have so much debt that he left with me from the divorce.  Once example is an 1800.00 cell phone bill from his drug dealings that I have continue to pay down at 25.00 every two weeks and I have paid 300 towards it and I will continue to pay it off until I am finished as it is negatively affecting my credit.  I cannot get any loans to help out and because he is in prison I don't get and won't get any support because the kids will be more than 18 when he finally gets out.  Right now I just need any financial assistance that can be provided even if I have to pay it back, or at least point me in the direction if there is a government grant or some assistance program.  I can barely make ends meet and I am employed full time.  I've always worked more than 40 hours a week.  I am also currently going to school to finish a degree so that I can make the money I need in the future to support my family.  I did get a grant to attend school.  I still have many bills, hospital bills and car payment and rent to pay and I am behind every month.  Any assistance you could offer would me greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
